ToBeReaL project held its first webinar, focusing on the identification of needs and barriers in the bioeconomy sector.
The session explored the project’s activities and addressed the typical challenges innovators face when scaling up technical solutions. Experts from Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, ILVO, VITO, and AINIA shared their insights and presented the services they provide within the ToBeReaL partnership.
The webinar also emphasised the valuable role of opean access pilot and demonstration facilities in reducing the risks associated with innovation and supporting the development of bio-based solutions. Participants were able to take part in virtual tours of open access pilot plants across Europe, gaining a practical overview of the available infrastructure and capabilities.
By addressing both barriers and opportunities, the session provided practical knowledge for innovators, stakeholders, and researchers working to advance the bioeconomy.
