The 3rd ToBeReal Webinar, “From Waste to Value: Biorefineries in the Circular Bioeconomy,” brought together stakeholders from across Europe to discuss how waste streams can be transformed into high-value bio-based products. During the webinar, participants explored concrete technical solutions, services, and synergies supporting the scale-up and industrial deployment of biorefinery technologies.
Key highlights included an overview of the CHEERS Project and its latest developments, as well as presentations on technical advances and case studies related to biorefinery solutions. The session also introduced StartBEC services and showcased the ToBeReal project’s technical service portfolio designed to support bio-based industries.
A central theme of the discussion was the identification of synergies between CHEERS and ToBeReal, highlighting how collaborative efforts can enhance innovation capacity and facilitate the transition from research to industrial application.
