Agrifood Biomass: Feeding the Circular Bioeconomy
How can agricultural biomass and food processing side streams be transformed into valuable resources for a more sustainable and circular bioeconomy?
On 28 October 2026, the ToBeReaL project invites stakeholders from across the agrifood and bio-based sectors to the workshop “Agrifood Biomass: Feeding the Circular Bioeconomy”, organised by Agrifood FVG in Udine, Italy.
The workshop will bring together companies, researchers and other bioeconomy stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to biomass valorisation, with a particular focus on plant-based proteins, the upcycling of food side streams and bio-based fibres.
Participants will hear practical examples from companies working in these fields and have the opportunity to exchange ideas during three interactive roundtables dedicated to the workshop’s key topics.
